Hello DA Members,

Thank you to those people out there who still watch, favorite, and leave comments for me. It really does mean A LOT to have such warm messages and thoughts that you still take the time for a quiet DA account.

For the past two years I have struggled with opening this account back up and working more on it. More recently I have posted a few pictures, but I really don't have much to put up these days.  I have been practicing art again, but most consist of anthro type characters and I don't really want to post that here.

I miss my friends, I miss anime fandoms (some), but they have evolved in such a way I have outgrown them.  There are so many going up and others disappearing way to fast; I didn't even know Tokyopop was gone until about 2 months ago.

I'm horrible with keeping contact with people, and distance really puts a damper on things considering I end up missing people more.

Truth is, I don't really have any cosplay to do. I am way better at sewing then before, but don't have an anime I want to cosplay from. I haven't had time to pick out new animes and watch them, nor people to recommend anything to me.  I don't really have groups anymore. I've retired Envy from FMA, or Brotherhood now (I haven't watched), and have another anime I would like to do, but don't really have the strive to do it.

I lack energy: the spur to do these things. I haven't been to a real gathering in years really.

I've tried new things: making fursuits, done body paint, worked on numerous theatrical shows, one of which is opening tomorrow.

I moved away from home and am at a University now finishing up a BA.  It gets pretty damn lonely.

But enough of my babbling- I'm sure the 'down in the dumps' talk SUCKS.

So really, I guess what I'm trying to say is, PLEASE POST to me, and if you have KEEP IT UP! Say hello! I really LOVE talking to people, but I forget to do it with a million things going on. Communication goes both ways, but I'm really bad at saying 'hi' first.  I love you all and hope that I can try to bring back relationships I've let dwindle, and build new ones!

Man, it's been a week and I'm still recovering from Comic Con and helping with my Punk's move X3

I haven't slept in my own bed in... like.. 3 weeks I think?

Annnyway. Wanted to give ya'll an update:

1. BUDDIES OF MINE: My cell is dead... the screen will not function any more properly. I can call people, but I have no access to my address book. Hope to change that soon! That means NO TEXTING either >.<

2. I'm leaving my job mid September to head out for school -deep breath- I'm trying to save up extra money for a huge trip next year. This being true, I don't know if I'll have enough money to do both Further Confusion and my summer trip to see my family for the first time over seas.  Because of this, I'm thinking about dedicating August to a few commissions. If I'm able to, I'll post an example with pricing.

I was curious what people usually like to get:

Other?

I suppose it would be based on what people can afford, but I just wondered if people had a preference.  How much do you pay (as a commissioner) or charge (if you're an artist) for what you like?

I was just curious about your opinions, or rather, if anyone would be interested in this.  I'm not so much of a well rounded artist anymore, but am always striving to be better.  I'm trying to set more time (especially with summer) aside for some sketch time, and maybe commissions eventually.

Anyway, I really enjoy watching artist's process' via Livestream and have thought about doing this myself.  I don't create a lot of art in front of people, but I do enjoy simple conversations and fun artwork.  I think it would be a great learning experience to try it out.

So rather, would anyone be interested in watching/participating in a livestream if I ran one?  Right now it would consist of art, fantasy, furry, and or anime, and may broaden to a wider genre including fursuit and cosplay making- depending on how it goes.  I would post a 'heads up' journal about a date and time before I ran one.

Please, let me know your opinion

I come back to visit and have over 900 messages- a majority from you lovelies favoring old pictures and artwork and watching me- I really appreciate it (And I actually have more watchers then what I watch o.o omg).  You make me feel like DA hasn't quite abandoned me as I had it for a while.
I hope to add some items you'll find interesting in the near future.

Lots of things have been going on since the past few updates, and the lack of submissions has been broken, for the moment.

Graduating, moving on to another degree and moving away are my main points right now ^_^

For the moment, I have a few days set aside for the summer. Conventions coming my way!  Hope you all have your own plans coming up!

I hope to have a few more submissions, but we'll see how it goes.  These next few weeks will be dedicated to a new cosplay (FINALLY!) I can't wait to start cosplaying with life again- it's been kind of quiet with all my other hobbies taking up time.  Some new Gundam Wing outfits coming your way.  And hopefully some other finished outfits soon enough (before I quit my job and move at the end of the summer).

My Fullmetal Alchemist cosplay I believe is at it's end... I may bring it out for a few gatherings, yet this year I won't be attending  my usual conventions of the summer, so we shall see.

With this impending move, I will be trying to upload more art and enjoy some time here on the interwebs; that may be livestreams as well since I find that interesting.

Any suggestions?  I'm always willing to hear opinions

Did I have over 12,000 page views? Where the hell did you all come FROM?!

Thank you To you all over the years that have supported me and followed through behind me. To all the new watchers, all those that have faved my work- it's all appreciated. I usually go on each one of your pages and say so, but I'm so far behind it wouldn't really be worth it... Heh ^^'

Anyway, it's already over half way through 2010. It's happened so fast. That last journal sat up for way to long, and because of it, I was a bit bitter.  The beginning of 2010 wasn't so pleasant. But that's now months behind.  I won't lie, it does take me a little while to get over things. There were some people out there that really hurt me- even though they think I don't know it.  So I've moved on, made much better, closer, more reliable, and realistic friends.

My life has changed and I've progressed over time.  To that, I realized that I've been avoiding deviant art because of this and have found myself conclusions to many things.  I apologize for my great absence It seemed that when I returned to DA, it was not a great time to do so.

Now I'm over it.

So, to those of you who have wondered where the hell I went, I'll let you in on my secret agent life. (yes, it's been called that)

This year I've attended 5 conventions already: Anime Los Angeles, Further Confusion, Califur, Anime Expo, and finally Comic Con just ended.  It's been crazy and an exceptionally large amount of money, but through it all, my closest friend has help me upfront the money to go.

The anime portion of my life has shrunk immensely, but I have not lost the passion for it, just my time has shrunk.  I haven't had the time to sit down and create something worth putting up here for you all to enjoy- hopefully that will change but I'm not sure... I've taken my life else where, for my interests have changed. As most of you know I have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, but these days I've been doing costume for the theatre and the furry community professionally. This has engulfed much of my time and cut many things in half. I just recently was able to finish up a school project- therefor I haven't had a real day off since Summer began, and I will be taking up classes the end of August.

So that's just a clip of what's going on. I do check my FA a couple of times a day for my art has been mostly consisting of commissions for that community, so if you're curious, pop on over there. As to what shall be posted up here, I still have a few cosplay pictures, though nothing that is really new. Hopefully some art soon enough, but fan art has been placed on the back burner for a while.  I did do a birthday piece of Gaara and Naruto for so maybe I'll post that.
